Hebron, January 21, 2026 (WAFA) – Israeli occupation forces arrested seven citizens from the Hebron governorate, south of the West Bank, on Wednesday, after storming their homes, searching them, and tampering with their contents, amid cold and rainy weather .
Security and local sources told Wafa that the occupation forces raided the southern area of Hebron and arrested citizens Subhi Ghaleb Abu Hamdiya Ghaith, Ahmed Saber Barqan, Abdul Muez Abdul Aziz Abu Turki, Yaqoub Yahya Al-Rajabi, Ali Al-Rajabi, and Tamer Talab Al-Ajlouni. From the town of Surif, northwest of Hebron, they arrested Musab Khalil Ghneimat and took them to an unknown location after severely beating them .
The same sources indicated that the occupation forces are still, for the third day in a row, closing several secondary roads with iron gates, cement blocks and earth barriers in the southern area of Hebron, and raided and searched several houses, wreaking havoc on their contents and assaulting their owners by beating them .
The occupation forces also set up several military checkpoints at the entrances to Hebron, its towns, villages and camps, and closed a number of main and secondary roads with iron gates, concrete blocks and earth barriers .
