Extremist Israeli Rabbi Yehuda Glick announced a large-scale storming of Al-Aqsa Mosque on Wednesday to commemorate the death of American journalist Charlie Kirk, known for his pro-occupation stance, public support for the genocide in Gaza, and denial of the existence of the Palestinian people and the rights of Muslims in the holy mosque.
Platforms affiliated with extremist Jewish groups published inflammatory calls for mobilization and participation in this raid.
The extremist Glick called on what he called “friends of Israel of all faiths” to join him, emphasizing his intention to bring groups of Jews and Christians who support the idea of ”establishing the Temple” to participate in the mass desecration of the mosque.
This announcement comes in the context of escalating Israeli attacks on Al-Aqsa Mosque and attempts to impose new facts on the ground at the expense of the historical and legal status quo there.
In contrast, popular and official Palestinian calls for mobilization and protection at Al-Aqsa continue, rejecting these provocative plans and affirming the commitment to Muslims’ exclusive right to the mosque, as it is an integral part of the nation’s faith and its religious and historical heritage.
