Jerusalem, March 21, 2026 (WAFA) – European diplomatic missions in Jerusalem and Ramallah condemned on Saturday the escalating attacks by settlers and Israeli occupation forces against citizens in the West Bank, demanding that the perpetrators be held accountable and that protection be provided to Palestinian communities .
A joint statement issued by the missions of Belgium, Canada, Denmark, the European Union, Ireland, Finland, France, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain, the United Kingdom, Sweden and Switzerland said they strongly condemn the escalation of “settler terrorism” and violence perpetrated by Israeli occupation forces against Palestinian communities .
She expressed her shock at the killing of Palestinians in recent weeks, stressing that this violence perpetrated by settler militias, aimed at seizing land and creating a coercive environment to force citizens to leave their homes, must stop .
The missions called on the Israeli authorities to prevent and hold accountable the perpetrators of deadly violence, raids and attacks, stressing that Israel, as the occupying power, has a responsibility to protect Palestinian communities .
