Gaza, March 15, 2026 (WAFA) – Medical sources in the Gaza Strip announced on Sunday evening that eight citizens were killed and others were injured as a result of Israeli occupation aircraft targeting a vehicle on Salah al-Din Street in the central Gaza Strip .
Our correspondent reported that the bodies of the eight martyrs arrived at the morgue of Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital . The martyrs are: Tawfiq Azmi Al-Khalidi, Rami Harb, Youssef Faraj Mait, Musab Al-Durrah, Abdul Rahman Munir Al-Amsi, Iyad Abu Youssef (Abu Omar), Wissam Al-Hafi, and Fathi Awida.
He also reported the death of citizen Nael Bassam Al-Barawi, who succumbed to injuries he sustained in an Israeli bombing that targeted citizens several days ago in the Al-Katiba area, west of Gaza City .
Medical sources in the Gaza Strip announced earlier today that the death toll from the Israeli occupation’s aggression against the Strip has risen to 72,239 martyrs and 171,861 wounded since the start of the aggression on October 7, 2023 .
The sources explained that hospitals in the Gaza Strip received 15 martyrs during the past twenty-four hours (13 new martyrs, and two martyrs who died from their injuries), in addition to 8 injuries .
She noted that the total number of martyrs since the ceasefire on October 11 has risen to 663, while the total number of injuries has reached 1,762, in addition to the recovery of 756 bodies .
The same sources added that a number of victims are still under the rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense crews have been unable to reach them so far .
