The Petroleum Authority in Gaza explained that the price of an 8-kilo gas cylinder for the citizen has become 74 shekels, which is paid to the distributor due to the increase in its price from the source after it rose globally.
The relevant authorities announced registration for filling domestic gas cylinders through a new mechanism that allows citizens to register or update their data via an approved electronic platform.

The Petroleum Authority in Gaza indicated that the ninth data update cycle has been opened, and therefore it is available to citizens who wish to change their address (governorate, city, neighborhood, distributor) or update their mobile number as long as the request is being processed.
Gas distribution mechanism in Gaza
The distribution of gas in the Gaza Strip governorates is carried out according to a rotation system, where each citizen receives one gas cylinder during a specific period of time, and the period between each rotation may be longer due to the scarcity of quantities.
The distribution is supervised by specialized committees in cooperation with the owners of filling stations and the mukhtars, to ensure compliance with the lists and to prevent violations. The responsible authorities confirmed that any citizen whose name is not included in the current list will not be able to receive gas, in order to ensure fairness and organization.
