Occupied Jerusalem – SafaPalestinian and Jerusalemite calls continue for the necessity of traveling to the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque and intensifying the presence there during the holy month of Ramadan, in order to confront the plans to Judaize it, empty it, and isolate it from its Palestinian surroundings. The calls emphasized that staying at Al-Aqsa Mosque during the month of Ramadan thwarts the occupation’s plans, stressing that staying there is an act of worship and steadfastness.Rabat’s calls include emphasizing the need for a constant presence in the courtyards of Al-Aqsa, not only during prayer times, but also to be keen on seclusion and participation in group iftars within its courtyards, to strengthen the Arab and Islamic presence there. She stressed that traveling to Al-Aqsa at this particular time is a national and religious duty, to break the siege imposed on the holy city, and to confront the restrictive policies pursued by the occupation at the gates of the mosque and its repeated prevention of worshippers from reaching it.In this context, the Islamic Bloc at Al-Quds University launched a call for steadfastness and loyalty, addressing its students and the loyal sons of Jerusalem, and seeking the honor of rebuilding the Qibla of the free and the heart’s desire of the mujahideen. She said: “The Islamic Bloc calls upon you to travel to Al-Aqsa Mosque on the second Friday of Ramadan, to establish Itikaf (seclusion for worship) in defense of its sanctity, to revitalize its courtyards, and to repel the Judaization plans.”Al-Aqsa Mosque is subjected to continuous attacks and incursions by extremist settlers and the occupation police, who provide them with full protection to perform their Talmudic rituals and prayers within its courtyards, while preventing Palestinians from entering it and keeping hundreds away from it during the holy month.Al-Aqsa , Judaization of Al-Aqsa, Rabat
