
The General Directorate of Civil Defense in the Gaza Strip announced today, Thursday, that it had carried out approximately 48 different missions since yesterday morning, Wednesday (September 10, 2025) until this morning, distributed among 7 firefighting missions, 3 rescue missions, 27 ambulance missions, in addition to 11 other missions in various governorates.
In the North Governorate, crews were able to extinguish a fire that broke out in a home belonging to the Al-Laqta family near Bahloul station, in addition to extinguishing another fire that broke out in a residential tower near Al-Fayrouz Towers after it was targeted. Ambulances also transported one person injured by gunfire from the Sheikh Radwan neighborhood, eight others injured as a result of shelling near the Shuhada Al-Shati School, five others injured as a result of targeting displaced people’s tents at the Tamous intersection, and three others injured as a result of shelling on the Abu Nadi family’s home near the Saftawi intersection.
In Gaza City, crews responded to a fire inside a home belonging to the Abu Asi family in the Nasr neighborhood after the area was targeted. They also inspected another fire in a previously damaged home near the Abu Alba intersection. Crews also transported one martyr and ten injured from the bombing of the Taiba Tower near Gaza Port, along with an additional injury from the vicinity of the Rimal fire station. Four patients were also transferred to Al-Shifa and Al-Helou hospitals.
In the Central Governorate, crews began monitoring a house shelling in the city of Al-Maghazi, causing no injuries. Six people were transported from a house shelling in the Al-Bureij refugee camp. A person wounded by a gunshot wound was taken to Al-Aqsa Hospital on Julis Street. Two martyrs and several others were transported after a group of citizens were targeted near Al-Hajj Bakery. Four patients were also transferred to the same hospital.
In Khan Yunis Governorate, Civil Defense teams, in coordination with the Red Cross, carried out a mission to rescue trapped members of the Abu Saada family. However, the mission was not completed due to obstacles that prevented access to the site.
In Rafah Governorate, crews provided ambulance services to two patients, who were transferred to the Cross Hospital and the British Hospital for treatment.
