The military spokesman for the Qassam Brigades, Abu Ubaida, said on Sunday that the military wing of Hamas had provided the mediators with all available details and information regarding the body of the captured Israeli soldier, Ran Gweli.
Abu Ubaida explained in a statement via Telegram, according to the Safa news agency, that the occupation is currently conducting searches in one of the sites based on information provided by the Qassam Brigades to the mediators.
He stressed that Al-Qassam dealt with the issue of the occupation’s prisoners and bodies with complete transparency, and accomplished everything required of it according to the ceasefire agreement.
He explained that the brigades handed over all the Israeli prisoners in their possession, both living and dead, as quickly as possible and without any delay, despite the occupation’s non-compliance and the dozens of violations and massacres it committed.
Abu Ubaida stressed that Al-Qassam Brigades are keen to close the file completely, adding that “the Brigades have no interest in stalling, in consideration of the interest of the Palestinian people.”
He pointed out that “the work was carried out in complex and almost impossible circumstances to extract and hand over all the bodies of the occupation prisoners,” calling on the mediators to assume their responsibilities and compel the occupation to implement what was agreed upon.Abu Ubaida, prisoners of the occupation, ceasefire, occupation violations, Gaza, Qassam
