A leading resistance source said that Hamas and the factions are making intensive efforts to complete the recovery of the bodies of the occupation prisoners as soon as possible. The source added to Al Jazeera on Monday that the only obstacle to completing the recovery of the prisoners’ bodies is the lack of resources and equipment. He expected that a significant number of the bodies of the occupation’s prisoners would be recovered if the mechanisms and capabilities were available. On Saturday evening, Hamas leader in the Gaza Strip, Khalil al-Hayya, said that the resistance had handed over 20 Israeli prisoners, 72 hours after the ceasefire, and 17 of the 28 bodies of the occupation’s prisoners. He pointed out that new areas will be entered on Sunday to search for some of the bodies of the occupation’s prisoners.Hamas has repeatedly asserted that it seeks to “close the file” and requires time, advanced equipment, and heavy machinery to retrieve the remaining bodies.
