On Sunday, Israeli occupation forces launched raids targeting several governorates in the West Bank and occupied Jerusalem, during which they searched homes and vandalized citizens’ property.
In Salfit, Israeli occupation forces stormed the village of Marda, north of Salfit, at dawn today.
Local sources reported that the occupation soldiers searched a number of houses in the village, vandalized their contents, and conducted field investigations with a number of citizens.
In occupied Jerusalem, the occupation forces carried out a campaign of raids in the alleys of the Old City and the vicinity of Al-Aqsa Mosque, and arrested two young men from the Bab Hutta and Bab al-Amud areas after searching them in the field.
The occupation forces continued their raid campaign in the towns of Anata and Hizma, northeast of Jerusalem, where several homes were stormed and searched and the identities of young men were checked.
In Hebron Governorate, occupation vehicles stormed several neighborhoods in the city, and raided the Jabal al-Rahma and Wadi al-Hariya areas.
In Hebron, the occupation forces stormed the towns of Yatta and Dura, south of Hebron, and carried out the arrest of a number of citizens and handed out summonses to report to the occupation intelligence.
This morning, the occupation forces arrested a woman and her son from the city of Nablus.
Local sources reported that the occupation forces stormed several neighborhoods in the city, raided a residential building on Sufian Street, searched an apartment there, before arresting the young man Yahya Nasser Al-Qouqa and his mother.
She added that the occupation forces stormed the town of Salem, east of Nablus, and searched a number of houses, without any arrests being reported.
In the Ramallah and Al-Bireh Governorate, a young man was injured by rubber-coated metal bullets during clashes that broke out after an Israeli army force stormed Birzeit at dawn today.
The raids also included the villages of Deir Abu Mash’al, Aboud and Kafr Ein, where intensive movements of occupation vehicles were observed and flying checkpoints were set up at their entrances.
Special forces also stormed the Dheisheh camp south of Bethlehem, and clashes broke out with young men, as the occupation forces fired gas and sound bombs intensively towards the houses.
The occupation forces arrested six citizens from the Dheisheh camp.
Local sources reported that the occupation forces stormed the camp and arrested Karam Nasr Abd Rabbo (33 years old), Ahmed Musa Sajdiya (39 years old), the brothers Tariq and Abdullah Ziad Arafa (21 and 20 years old), Zakaria Raafat Faraj (20 years old), and Omar Ahmed Adawi, after raiding and searching their families’ homes.
She added that the occupation forces stormed the “Jub Al-Dheeb” area east of Bethlehem, and raided and searched a number of homes, without any arrests being reported.#raids
