Nablus – SafaIsraeli occupation forces launched a campaign of raids and arrests in various areas of the occupied West Bank at dawn on Tuesday. In Nablus, the occupation forces arrested two young men from the city after raiding and searching their homes. Security sources reported that an Israeli special force stormed the village of Salem, east of the city, and raided the home of citizen Nassim Helmi Karkari.She explained that large reinforcements from the occupation army surrounded the Karkari house, searched it, destroyed its contents, and then arrested his son, Hilmi.She stated that the forces stormed the city and arrested the young man, Badr Al-Razza, after raiding and searching his house in the Al-Makhfiya area. In Bethlehem, the occupation forces arrested five citizens from different areas of the city.Security sources reported that the occupation forces arrested Montaser Billah Omar Hamid from Al-Saf Street in the city center, Muhammad Naaman Al-Sheikh from Marah Rabah village, and Maher Ibrahim Nawawra from Jabal Hindaza.She added that the forces also arrested Rantis Ali Jibril from the town of Tuqu’, and Rami Ibrahim Abu Ahour from the Abu Njeim area southeast of Bethlehem, after raiding and searching their families’ homes. In Hebron, the occupation forces arrested five citizens from the city, after storming their homes, searching them, and tampering with their contents.Local sources reported that the occupation forces arrested citizen Muhammad Rateb Al-Qawasmi from Hebron, and Muhammad Shawqi Warasneh, Ahmed Musa Jaradat, and Khalil Musa Al-Faroukh, from the towns of Al-Shuyoukh and Sa’ir, northeast of the city.From the town of Yatta, south of Hebron, the occupation forces arrested Yasser Muhammad Al-Hamamdeh.In a related context, the occupation forces searched several homes in the city and the towns of Dura, Yatta, Sa’ir and Beit Ummar, and conducted field investigations with their owners.The forces set up several military checkpoints at the entrances to Hebron and its towns, villages and camps, and closed a number of main and secondary roads with iron gates, concrete blocks and earth barriers.In Jenin, the occupation forces arrested 4 young men during a raid on the town of Qabatiya, south of Jenin.The detainees are: Nassar Hamad Zakarna, Tariq Wael Zakarna, Muhammad Nafeh Assaf, Ayed Nazzal, and Ahmed Nasr.
