Hebron, April 17, 2026 (WAFA) – Armed settlers set fire to two vehicles during an attack on citizens’ homes south of Hebron early Friday morning.
Activist Osama Makhamra told Wafa that a group of armed settlers from the “Otniel” settlement, built on citizens’ land, infiltrated citizens’ homes in the “Majd al-Ba’a” area west of Yatta, and completely burned two vehicles belonging to the brothers Khaled and Yasser Abu Ali.
In a related context, the occupation forces blew up the doors of a number of shops in Yatta, before storming them, searching them, and tampering with their contents.
In the town of Beit Awa, west of Hebron, the occupation forces raided the home of citizen Muhammad Al-Akimi, searched it, and deliberately destroyed its contents, without any arrests being reported.
