Gaza, April 6, 2026 (WAFA) – Medical sources in the Gaza Strip announced on Monday that the death toll from the Israeli occupation’s aggression on the Strip has risen to 72,302 martyrs and 172,090 wounded since the start of the aggression on October 7, 2023.
Sources reported that hospitals in the Gaza Strip received 7 martyrs and 17 injuries during the past 24 hours .
She noted that the total number of martyrs since the ceasefire on October 11 has risen to 723, and the total number of injuries to 1,990, while 759 bodies have been recovered.
The same sources explained that a number of victims are still under the rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and rescue teams have been unable to reach them until this moment.
