Ramallah, March 31, 2026 (WAFA) – The General Petroleum Authority in the Ministry of Finance announced on Tuesday evening the prices of fuel and gas for the month of April.
The General Petroleum Authority said that in light of the unprecedented rise in global oil prices, the worsening of multi-dimensional energy crises, and the dependence of prices on the price of the Israeli markets as they are the main supplier to the Palestinian market, the price of a liter of the most common 95 octane gasoline will be sold for 7.90 shekels, while a liter of 98 octane gasoline will be sold for 8.86 shekels, a liter of diesel for 8.40 shekels, and a liter of kerosene for 8.40 shekels.
Gas cylinder prices have also increased, with a 12-kilogram cylinder now selling for 95 shekels.
The General Petroleum Authority in the Ministry of Finance said that it is continuing its efforts to ensure the continued supply of fuel derivatives and gas to the Palestinian market, despite the challenges associated with energy crises at the regional and global levels, and at the same time it is following up on citizens’ observations to prevent any monopoly or exploitation of the current exceptional circumstances .
The authority urged citizens to avoid dealing with rumors circulating on social media regarding the availability and prices of fuel, stressing the continued supply to the Palestinian market, coinciding with increased demand due to concerns related to the conflict in the region .
The Authority explained that the supply of fuel to the Palestinian market continues without interruption, despite the existing and expected challenges, as the Authority’s data indicates the supply of 8 million liters of gasoline and 17 million liters of diesel during the past ten days .
The Authority will also continue, in cooperation with the relevant authorities, to conduct monitoring tours of fuel stations, to ensure that petroleum products reach citizens fairly and with dignity, and in a way that preserves the continuity of work in various sectors, especially the vital ones .
The authority clarified that it has detected the circulation of forged publications containing price lists for petroleum derivatives and is currently working with the relevant authorities to track the sources of this false information, which aims to create confusion, and to take the necessary legal measures against those spreading it. It urged citizens not to pay attention to this information from unknown sources, emphasizing that it is the only entity authorized to issue the official price list on its usual dates, the last day of each month .
