Gaza, March 25, 2026 (WAFA) – Medical sources in the Gaza Strip announced on Wednesday that the death toll from the Israeli occupation’s aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 72,265 martyrs and 171,959 wounded since the start of the aggression on October 7, 2023 .
Medical sources explained that two martyrs and 11 injuries arrived at hospitals in the Gaza Strip during the past 24 hours.
She noted that the total number of martyrs since the ceasefire on October 11 has risen to 689, and the total number of injuries to 1,860, while 756 bodies have been recovered .
The same sources explained that a number of victims are still under the rubble and in the streets, as ambulance and civil defense crews have been unable to reach them until this moment .
