Ramallah, March 23, 2026 – President Mahmoud Abbas chaired a meeting of the preparatory committee for the eighth general conference of the Fatah movement this evening, Monday, at the presidential headquarters in Ramallah.
His Excellency listened to reports from the committees tasked with preparing for the conference, namely: the Regulations Committee, the Political Program Committee, the National Program Committee, the Media Committee, the Logistics Committee, and the Membership Committee .
The President confirmed that the conference will be held as scheduled on May 14, 2026.
His Excellency directed the committees to complete their work before the deadline.
