Tubas, March 15, 2026 (WAFA) – A citizen, his wife, and their two children were killed early Sunday morning by Israeli occupation forces in the town of Tammun, south of Tubas, while their other two children were injured by shrapnel.
Local sources reported that special units of the Israeli occupation army infiltrated the town, followed by military reinforcements from the Ein Shibli and Tayasir checkpoints. The sources indicated that the occupation forces opened fire on a vehicle, resulting in the deaths of Ali Khaled Sayel Bani Odeh (37 years old), his wife Waad Othman Aqel Bani Odeh (35 years old), and their two children, Muhammad (5 years old) and Othman (7 years old). Their other two children, Mustafa (8 years old) and Khaled (11 years old), sustained minor injuries from shrapnel to the head and face.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society stated that the occupation forces prevented its crews from reaching the injured from inside the vehicle and forced them to leave the scene. The Society later announced that its crews had recovered four bodies from inside the vehicle: a man, a woman, and two children, in addition to two children who had been injured by shrapnel.
On another note, sources reported that Israeli occupation forces arrested Mahmoud Hassan Bani Odeh and his 19-year-old son, Hassan, after raiding their home in the town. They also arrested 15-year-old Yaman Hossam Bani Odeh.
