Nablus, March 12, 2026 (WAFA) – Two citizens were martyred this evening, Thursday, by Israeli occupation forces near the Za’tara junction, south of Nablus.
The Ministry of Health reported that the General Authority for Civil Affairs informed it of the martyrdom of the young man Mamoun Badawi Idris Rashdan (25 years old) and the young man Muhammad Ali Bassam Rashdan (24 years old), by the occupation’s bullets, and the detention of their bodies, and they are from the village of Einabus .
Wafa’s correspondent reported that the occupation forces opened fire on a vehicle carrying the two young men as they passed near the Za’tara junction south of Nablus .
He added that the occupation forces closed a number of checkpoints and military gates surrounding the city of Nablus, including Awarta, Al-Murabba’a, Deir Sharaf and the Huwara gates, and tightened their procedures at others, causing severe traffic jams and preventing thousands of citizens from reaching their cities, villages and places of residence.
