West Bank – Safa
On Friday, groups of settlers committed a series of attacks and widespread incursions targeting various areas of the West Bank, concentrated in the governorates of Bethlehem and Hebron and the Jordan Valley, under the protection of the occupation forces.
Local sources reported that dozens of settlers, under the protection of Israeli occupation forces, stormed the Solomon’s Pools archaeological site located between the town of al-Khader and the village of Artas, south of Bethlehem. The incursion disrupted the movement of residents in the area and raised concerns that Talmudic rituals would be performed there, aimed at consolidating control over the historical site.
In southern Hebron, settlers, under heavy military protection, stormed Mount Tarousa, near the city of Dura.
This move comes as part of the settlers’ repeated attempts to seize control of the mountain peaks in the area for settlement purposes and to tighten the noose around the surrounding Palestinian communities.
In the central Jordan Valley, settlers deliberately released their livestock near the homes of residents in the central Fasayil area.
Eyewitnesses stated that this attack aims to sabotage crops and pressure Bedouin families to leave their lands in favor of the settlers’ pastoral expansion.
In occupied Jerusalem, the occupation forces and settlers continue to harass the residents of Kafr Aqab and the vicinity of Qalandia camp to the north, while settler incitement continues in the Bedouin communities east of the city.
These attacks come in conjunction with other attacks witnessed in the towns of Hawara, Al-Mughayir, and Burqa, where settler attacks have become organized in nature, targeting agricultural lands, archaeological sites, and residential homes simultaneously, with the aim of imposing new facts on the ground.#Settlers
