Gaza, January 24, 2026 (WAFA) – A number of citizens were injured this morning, Saturday, by Israeli occupation forces in Khan Younis, while shelling and gunfire resumed in various parts of the Gaza Strip.
Our correspondents reported that a citizen was wounded by occupation forces in the center of Khan Yunis city, while a number of others were wounded in the occupation’s bombing of Old Gaza Street in Jabalia and Beit Lahia in the northern Gaza Strip.
The shooting from the occupation vehicles in the east of the city has resumed, which is constantly subjected to gunfire and direct targeting.
Israeli warplanes resumed firing toward the city of Rafah, while Israeli artillery targeted the Zeitoun neighborhood southeast of Gaza City.
Since the ceasefire last October, more than 1,820 citizens have been killed or injured as a result of more than 1,300 violations of the agreement committed by the occupation .
