West Bank – Safa
On Friday, the Israeli occupation army raided several areas across the occupied West Bank and carried out an arrest campaign accompanied by assaults on citizens.
Occupation forces arrested a number of Palestinian citizens during raids and incursions that included searching homes, vandalizing their contents, and breaking down the doors of some commercial shops.
In Tubas Governorate, occupation forces arrested the young man Yahya Al-Masoud after raiding his home in the town of Aqqaba, north of the governorate.
In Nablus Governorate, occupation forces arrested Abdullah Nidal Salameh in the Bir Quza area of the town of Beita, south of Nablus. They also raided the town of Talfit, south of the city, and arrested three citizens: Naeem Marouh Ismail Muslim, and the brothers Nael and Mahmoud Raed Atiya Muslim, after storming and searching their homes.
In Bethlehem Governorate, occupation forces arrested the young men Adi Ismail Jabarin and Sultan Jaser Jabarin from the village of Al-Minya, southeast of Bethlehem.
In Bethlehem as well, they arrested Maher Mohammad Abd Rabbo, Mohammad Ali Mosleh, and Mohammad Wael Faraarjeh from Dheisheh Refugee Camp, in addition to arresting Hudhaifa Jaafar Mousa from the town of Al-Khader, south of the governorate, after raiding and searching their family homes.
The ongoing raids and arrests, along with the accompanying assaults on homes and property, fall within a systematic policy of collective punishment against citizens.
