The Grand Mufti of Jerusalem and the Palestinian Territories, Sheikh Muhammad Hussein, announced the date of the first day of the month of Sha’ban for the year 1447 AH.
The Mufti said that Monday, January 19, 2026, is the last day of the month of Rajab for the year 1447 AH.
Therefore, Tuesday, January 20, 2026 AD is the first day of the month of Sha’ban for the year 1447 AH.
