Ramallah, January 14, 2026 (WAFA) – The Palestinian Prisoners Club said that Israeli occupation forces arrested at least (45) citizens from the West Bank, including Jerusalem, from yesterday evening until this morning, Wednesday.
The Prisoners Club stated in a statement that the arrests were concentrated in the towns of Qabatiya, south of Jenin, Deir al-Hatab, east of Nablus, and Shuafat camp, northeast of Jerusalem, while the rest were distributed among the governorates of Tulkarm, Jericho, Hebron, and Salfit.
He added that the arrests and field investigations are accompanied by systematic acts of abuse and attacks against the detainees and their families, in addition to using the detainees as hostages, and widespread acts of sabotage and destruction in citizens’ homes, noting that the occupation forces blew up the house of prisoner Ahmed Abu Al-Rub in the town of Qabatiya at dawn today.
It is worth noting that the occupation authorities are continuing to carry out arrest operations, which constitute the most prominent of the fixed and systematic policies that they implement daily against citizens, and have included all segments of Palestinian society, as the number of arrests in the West Bank after the war of extermination has reached about (21,000).
