Gaza, January 3, 2026 (WAFA) – A young man was killed this morning, Saturday, by Israeli occupation army fire in the Shuja’iyya neighborhood, east of Gaza City, and another was injured in Khan Younis, as gunfire and shelling continued in various parts of the Gaza Strip.
Our correspondents reported, citing medical sources, that the young man Haroun Nimr Bahar (27 years old) was killed by occupation bullets near the Shuja’iyya neighborhood bus stop.
The same sources added that a citizen was shot in the abdomen by the occupation forces in the vicinity of Nasser Hospital, west of Khan Younis.
The occupation aircraft launched raids targeting the eastern areas of Gaza City.
Israeli forces continued firing east of Jabalia camp, al-Bureij, and Deir al-Balah. Israeli warships also opened heavy fire off the coast of Rafah .
Meanwhile, the occupation army is dropping smoke bombs east of Jabalia.
