
The media committee in Tulkarm camp said that the ongoing Israeli aggression on Tulkarm city and its camp for the 34th consecutive day has led to the martyrdom of 13 citizens, the injury and arrest of dozens, and the extensive destruction of homes and infrastructure.
The committee indicated in a statement that reached Safa Agency on Saturday that the brutal aggression on Nour Shams camp continues for the 21st day, amid systematic destruction operations.
She explained that 11,000 displaced persons were forced to evacuate their homes from Tulkarm camp, and 5,000 from Nour Shams camp.
He stated that Tulkarm and Nour Shams camps have been subjected to destruction and burning of homes for weeks, with the aim of paving roads for the occupation through them and concealing large parts of the camp’s landmarks.
She stressed that the occupation deliberately caused explosions and opened fire to terrorize the residents while forcing them to evacuate their homes in the Nasr neighborhood in Nour Shams camp.
The occupation pushed large bulldozers towards Al-Manshiya neighbourhood in Nour Shams camp, to carry out demolitions of citizens’ homes and bulldoze during the ongoing aggression.
In conjunction with the aggression on Tulkarm, the authority’s security forces continue to pursue and arrest resistance fighters, the latest of whom was the wanted man Kamal Al-Khatib from Ezbet Abu Khameesh.
The committee called on the people of Tulkarm and the entire West Bank to support the displaced from the camps who are receiving the month of Ramadan in shelters.
She stressed that the occupation will not be able to deprive the Palestinian people of their will to live, despite the destruction, abuse, intimidation and displacement.
