Ramallah, December 23, 2025 (WAFA) – President Mahmoud Abbas received Mrs. Fadwa Barghouti, wife of senior Fatah Central Committee member Marwan Barghouti, at the presidential headquarters in Ramallah on Tuesday, in support of the Palestinian, Arab and international campaign aimed at his release .
The Presidency affirmed that the demand for the release of leader Marwan Barghouti has always been at the top of the agenda of the President and the Fatah movement .
The Presidency saluted the steadfastness and determination of the great national leader Marwan Barghouti, and his courageous national stances, praising the steadfastness of the rest of the struggling prisoners in defense of freedom and the independence of the state .
