Doha, December 6, 2025 (WAFA) – Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Manuel Alvarez said on Saturday that Israeli settler violence in the West Bank has gotten out of control .
Albares added, “We faced criticism for recognizing the Palestinian state, but we did it for justice for the Palestinian people .”
His remarks came during the launch of the 23rd Doha Forum 2025, in the Qatari capital, Doha, in the presence of the Emir of Qatar, Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani .
Albares stressed that the “two-state solution” is the true path to peace and stability for both Palestinians and Israelis .
He continued, “The time has come to establish a real Palestinian state, and this means that the West Bank and Gaza should be under a unified Palestinian authority . “
