Salfit, November 16, 2025 (WAFA) – This morning, Sunday, the Israeli occupation authorities uprooted dozens of olive trees from the lands of Wadi Qana in the town of Deir Istiya, northwest of Salfit.
Ibrahim Al-Hamad, Director General of the Agriculture Directorate in Salfit Governorate, told Wafa that the occupation uprooted about 135 olive trees that were more than seven years old, belonging to three farmers from the town, noting that this attack comes as part of a continuous series of violations against agricultural lands in the region.
According to a report issued by the Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission last October, the Israeli occupation forces and settlers carried out a total of 2,350 attacks, continuing the series of ongoing terrorism by the occupying state against our Palestinian people, their lands, and their properties.
The occupation army carried out 1,584 attacks, while the settlers carried out 766 attacks. The total number of attacks was concentrated in the governorates of Ramallah and Al-Bireh with 542 attacks, Nablus with 412 attacks, and Hebron with 401 attacks.
The attacks varied between direct physical assault, uprooting trees, burning fields, preventing olive pickers from accessing their lands, seizing property, and demolishing homes and agricultural facilities.
