Ramallah, November 14, 2025 (WAFA) – The Palestinian Meteorological Department predicted that the country will be affected today, Friday, by a low-pressure system accompanied by a relatively cold to cold air mass. Therefore, the weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy and relatively cold during the day and cold at night. A noticeable drop in temperatures is expected, becoming slightly below the general average. Scattered showers of rain are expected over most areas, which may be heavy and accompanied by thunderstorms at times. The winds will be southwesterly to northwesterly, moderate to brisk, and the sea will be moderate to rough.
In the evening and night hours: The weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy and cold, especially over the mountainous highlands. Scattered showers of rain will fall over most areas, sometimes accompanied by thunderstorms . The winds will be southwesterly to northwesterly , moderate in speed, occasionally becoming active. The sea will be moderate to rough.
Saturday: The low-pressure system continues to affect the country, so the weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy and cold, especially over the mountainous areas. Temperatures will drop slightly to about two degrees Celsius below the average. Scattered showers of rain will fall over most areas, sometimes accompanied by thunderstorms. Winds will be southwesterly to westerly , brisk with occasional strong gusts, and the sea will be rough.
Sunday: The low-pressure system continues to affect the country, so the weather will be partly cloudy to cloudy and cold, especially over the mountainous areas. Temperatures will rise slightly but will remain slightly below average. Scattered showers are expected over most areas, and the chance of rain will decrease from the evening hours. Winds will be westerly to northwesterly, moderate to brisk , and the sea will be moderate to rough.
Monday: The weather will be partly cloudy with another rise in temperatures to around the annual average. Winds will be light to moderate , southeasterly to northeasterly, and the sea will have a slight wave height.
The Meteorological Department warned, especially on Friday and Saturday, of the risk of flash floods in some valleys and low-lying areas , slippery roads , strong winds, and reduced horizontal visibility .
