The Hebrew newspaper Haaretz said Friday that the policy of accumulating the bodies of Palestinians and preventing their delivery to the Palestinians had no effect and the result was a big zero.
According to the newspaper, the refusal of Israeli Defense Minister Benny Gantz to hand over the body of the captured martyr Nasser Abu Humid will have no any impact on the negotiations of the prisoner swap deal, although it was interrupted by Israel’s refusal to comply with Hamas’s conditions for releasing dozens of Palestinians who carried out attacks that killed Israelis.
It was difficult for Hamas to be flexible on a prisoner exchange deal to hold the body of a single Palestinian, the newspaper claimed.
