The Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), Philippe Lazzarini, confirmed that the Israeli occupation forces killed more than (370) of the agency’s employees in the Gaza Strip, since October 2023.”To date, more than 370 of our colleagues have been killed, and it’s possible the number is higher,” Lazzarini said in a press statement. “However, it’s difficult to obtain real-time information due to the current situation in Gaza and the extensive movement of people between the north and south of the Strip.”He added that the agency lost (410) employees, between martyrs and detainees, during the ongoing war on the Gaza Strip. He pointed out that UNRWA is committed to continuing its mission until a just solution to the suffering of Palestinian refugees is reached.
