Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan stated that the genocide resulting from systematic starvation in Gaza continues, and that Israeli expansion and threats in the region continue.
This came during a joint press conference on Thursday with his Italian counterpart, Antonio Tajani, in the Italian capital.
Fidan explained that the pressure exerted by the international community on Israel is insufficient and has not reached the level of deterrence.
He added, “The illusion that Israel has created in the eyes of international public opinion over the years is gradually fading, as its true face and true intentions are revealed. Despite the delay, we are witnessing a major awakening in the international community.”
Vidan stated that the entire world witnessed how Israel violated all the rules considered sacred by humanity, one after another, and without concern.
“The world, especially Western society, is in conflict with its own values,” he added.
Fidan pointed out that the conflict between the Israeli occupation and Western values would have dire consequences.
He stressed the need for the international community to make greater efforts, and for the European Union and the United Nations to adopt more effective resolutions to stop “Israel,” otherwise the severely eroded international order could collapse completely.
