On Thursday, settlers stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque under the protection of Israeli occupation forces.
Local sources reported that dozens of settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque in groups from the Mughrabi Gate, conducted provocative tours of its courtyards, and performed Talmudic rituals.
Over the past week, 604 settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque, in addition to 351 others, under the pretext of tourism.
This comes as the extremist organization “Pedinu” has called on its supporters to storm Al-Aqsa Mosque on September 22-24 to commemorate the so-called Jewish New Year.
Every year on this occasion, Al-Aqsa witnesses intensive incursions, during which settlers perform Temple rituals, especially the blowing of the shofar.
The blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque was subjected to a series of unprecedented violations by the occupation forces and settlers during the month of August, which constitute the most dangerous violations against the mosque in decades.
Data indicates that more than 8,134 settlers stormed Al-Aqsa Mosque, committing unprecedented violations, most notably blowing the trumpet.
Widespread calls continue from Jerusalemites and the occupied Palestinian territories to mobilize, march to the blessed Al-Aqsa Mosque, and participate in the vigil in its courtyards, to thwart the plans of the occupation and its settlers.
The calls emphasized the need for mobilization and resistance to the occupation’s decisions that attempt to reduce the number of worshippers. They also emphasized the importance of a massive influx to Al-Aqsa Mosque after its reopening and performing prayers there, as this represents a practical step to confront the occupation’s measures and thwart its attempts to isolate the mosque from its popular and religious surroundings.
