Hamas leader Abdel Rahman Shadid said that the occupation’s decision to evacuate the eastern neighborhood adjacent to the Tulkarm refugee camp in the northern West Bank constitutes a new crime of forced displacement, adding to its record of crimes against our people. In a statement to Safa News Agency on Friday, Shadid added that the decision confirms his terrorist government’s continued annexation plan and imposition of complete control over the West Bank.He warned of the danger of escalating settler attacks, as witnessed in the villages of Yatma and Qabalan, south of Nablus, and in Khirbet Khallet al-Daba, south of Hebron. He explained that these attacks reveal the criminal and barbaric nature of the settler gangs who seek by all means to expel our people from their land and homes, empty our cities, villages and camps of their original inhabitants and impose settlement facts by force. He held the occupation fully responsible for the consequences of these criminal practices. He stressed that his aggressive policies will not succeed in breaking the will of our people or pushing them to surrender to his schemes, which will fail thanks to our people’s steadfastness, perseverance, and adherence to their land and rights. He called on the masses of our people in all the governorates of the West Bank to unite and confront the displacement plans, support the residents threatened with eviction by all possible means, and ignite the arenas of confrontation with the occupation and its settler gangs
