
The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced on Tuesday that 71 martyrs and 251 injured people had arrived at hospitals in the Strip over the past 24 hours.
In a statement received by Safa News Agency, the Ministry explained that the bodies of many victims are still under the rubble and in the streets, preventing ambulance and civil defense crews from reaching them.
The Ministry noted that the death toll from the conflict since the beginning of the aggression on October 7, 2023, has risen to 62,263 martyrs and 157,365 injured, “while the death toll from March 18, 2025, to date, has reached 10,717 martyrs and 45,324 injured.”
The Ministry stated that it had recorded 24 martyrs and 133 injuries among those killed in the “suffering” effort during the past 24 hours while attempting to obtain humanitarian aid, bringing the total number of those killed in the struggle for livelihood to 2,060 and more than 15,197 injured.
Gaza hospitals also documented two new deaths due to famine and malnutrition, including two children, bringing the total number of deaths due to hunger to 273, including 112 children.
The Ministry of Health called on the families of martyrs and missing persons to complete their information via the link designated for completing the ministry’s records.
