
The occupation forces continue their aggression against the city of Jenin and its camp for the 61st consecutive day, with demolition and destruction operations continuing in and around the camp.
The occupation forces notified the demolition of dozens of homes in the areas of Tabat al-Ghabz and al-Jabariyat, extending to the al-Hawashin and al-Aloub neighborhoods.
The media committee in Jenin camp reported that the occupation is working on a plan to destroy entire residential areas in the western part of Jenin camp and pave roads deep into the camp.
She noted that occupation forces continued to deploy around Jenin camp, while bulldozers carried out acts of vandalism around the camp’s old cemetery and parts of the city’s Al-Hadaf neighborhood.
The committee warned of the danger of Palestinian Authority security agencies cooperating with the occupation forces to facilitate demolitions and the eviction of citizens from their homes in Jenin camp and other targeted areas.
The Palestinian Authority’s security forces announced that they arrested Abdul Saydali and Ahmad Sabarini Muhammad al-Saadi from the al-Jabariyat neighborhood, coinciding with the occupation’s aggression on Jenin.
She added that more than 21,000 displaced persons from Jenin camp, including approximately 2,000 students who were deprived of education throughout the aggression, remain in shelters under difficult conditions.
Israeli occupation forces renewed their raid on the town of Ya’bad, southwest of Jenin, and arrested Bassam Amarneh, his son Mahmoud, and Arshad Nabil Amarneh.
According to the committee, more than 230 citizens have been arrested and detained by the occupation since the beginning of the aggression on Jenin and its camp, while dozens have been subjected to field investigations, beatings, and abuse.
On Saturday morning, resistance fighters detonated a pre-prepared explosive device at a military checkpoint at the Salem military checkpoint west of Jenin.
The occupation’s aggression on Jenin and its camp resulted in the martyrdom of 36 citizens, two of whom were shot by the Palestinian Authority’s security forces, which are complicit in the occupation’s crimes and pursue and arrest resistance fighters.
