A number of citizens were killed and others were injured since dawn on Monday, as a result of the ongoing Israeli bombardment of Gaza City.
The spokesman for the Civil Defense in Gaza, Mahmoud Basal, reported that more than 40 martyrs and dozens of wounded have been reported since dawn today in Gaza City alone.
“This is a very difficult day for Gaza City. The bombing and killing have not stopped since dawn today,” Basal added in press statements.
Since October 7, 2023, Israel, with American support, has been waging a genocide in the Gaza Strip, leaving about 156,000 Palestinian martyrs and wounded, most of them children and women, and more than 11,000 missing, amid massive destruction and famine that killed dozens of children and the elderly, in one of the worst humanitarian disasters in the world.
Israel continues its war, despite a UN Security Council resolution to stop it immediately, and orders from the International Court of Justice to end the invasion of the city of Rafah in the southern Gaza Strip, and to take measures to prevent acts of “genocide” and improve the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
