More than 300 British public figures have called on British Prime Minister Keir Starmer, in a letter, to end his country’s complicity in Israel’s crimes in Gaza.
According to Al Jazeera, the British figures’ letter called for a suspension of British arms sales to Israel and immediate access for aid to Gaza.
The occupation forces renewed their aggression against the Gaza Strip at dawn on March 18, 2025, with airstrikes across the Strip, reversing a ceasefire agreement with Hamas and other resistance factions that had been in place for about 60 days, brokered by the United States, Egypt, and Qatar.
Israel renounced entering into the second phase of the ceasefire agreement, which was supposed to last for 42 days, followed by a third phase of the same duration, leading to a permanent ceasefire and cessation of hostilities.
Since the start of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip, 54,249 citizens have been martyred, while the number of injured has reached 123,492, about 72% of whom are women and children, according to the Ministry of Health.
