They must take decisive action to force “Israel” to stop its aggressions against the Palestinian people and its violations of international law and international humanitarian law, as well as to refrain from acting provocatively in Jerusalem and endangering the security and stability of the region.
It denounced the occupation government for setting a dangerous precedent by holding its meeting in one of the illegal Israeli tunnels and excavations along Al-Aqsa’s western wall, just days after approving and supporting the infamous “flag march” that stormed the neighborhoods of the Old City of Jerusalem
And called on the Security Council and the United Nations to put pressure on “Israel” to stop its violations, including settlement expansion and all measures aimed at changing the existing legal and historical status in Al-Aqsa, which would push the situation in the region to further deterioration.
And she stressed the need to activate efforts aimed at achieving a comprehensive, just, and lasting peace on the basis of international law and relevant United Nations resolutions and the two-state solution that guarantees the embodiment of an independent, sovereign, geographically contiguous, and viable Palestinian state on the lines of June 4, 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital, and to stop all illegal Israeli measures. that undermine this solution.
It urged the Security Council and the UN to apply pressure on “Israel” to stop its crimes, including settlement development and all actions intended to change the current legal and historical status in Al-Aqsa, which would worsen the situation in the region.
She also emphasized the necessity of stepping up efforts to bring about a comprehensive, just, and lasting peace based on relevant United Nations resolutions, international law, and the two-state solution, which ensures the realization of an independent, sovereign, geographically contiguous, and viable Palestinian state along the lines of June 4, 1967, with East Jerusalem as its capital, and the need to halt all illegal Israeli actions that threaten this solution.
It valued the positions taken by the nations in rejecting and denouncing Israel’s provocative and aggressive storming of the Al-Aqsa Mosque, which reaffirmed their refusal to change the current legal and historical status of the Christian and Islamic holy sites in Jerusalem, the most important of which is the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
