In response to the murder of the young guy, Firas Zahi Mosaidi (28 years old), hundreds of Kafr Yasif locals protested in the occupied Palestinian territory today, Saturday.

Today, the strike moved to the town of Kafr Yasif and affected every aspect of daily life, with the exception of schools, which set aside a class to instruct kids on how to prevent crime and violence.

Since 70th Street was closed to traffic in all directions, the demonstration began in Al Ain Square and moved to the roundabout there.

Following the death of the young guy, Mosaedi, who is the son of the deputy head of the local council in the town, the protesters held banners and spoke out against the rise in domestic violence and criminality.

As the number of murder victims since the start of the year reached 71, it became clear that the Israeli security establishment supports domestic crime’s power brokers while failing to deter criminal activity. This was done as part of a strategy to destroy the social fabric of the Palestinians inside.
