More than 19,000 citizens and visitors crossed through the Karama crossing during the past week.The police stated that the number of departures during the week was (9393) people, and the number of arriving passengers was (10365) people, indicating that the movement of passengers was moderate.She noted that during the same period, they arrested 51 people wanted by the judiciary and prohibited from traveling, either while trying to leave through the crossing, or while awaiting their arrival as they entered the Palestinian territories. They are wanted in cases filed before the courts and the Public Prosecution.All security and civil agencies in the General Administration of Crossings and Borders provided many facilities and services to all citizens, including coordinating (7) medical cases to travel between the two sides of the crossing in Palestinian ambulances.
